Three decades and 10 smiling faces of Fort St. John Rotary presidents!
On Saturday, June 18, we held our annual President’s Ball at the Ross H. MacLean Rotary Park at Charlie Lake, celebrating a successful year under outgoing president Vince van Wieringen, and passing the torch to incoming president Samantha Warren.

This past year had its challenges for sure — half a year of Zoom, half a year of in-person lunch meetings due to Covid restrictions — but Rotarians kept active to ensure our Drive-Thru Breakfast, Mega Lottery, and Mother’s Day Run continued to raise critical funds for nonprofit initiatives improving the quality of life in our community.
Being a Rotarian and building community and fellowship with our neighbours is always a ton of fun. And being Club President is a big commitment that takes a ton of time, effort, and organization to keep us all going.
We’re very excited to have Samantha step in as President and continue growing Rotary in Fort St. John as we head into our 60th year in 2023!
